Behind the Camera:
Cinematographer, Writer, and Director Zack Fox (He/Him)
Zack Fox is a Winston-Salem, North Carolina resident and is a graduate of REDucation & the ASC Masterclass where he was instructed by Emmy Winner David Mullen (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) and Oscar Nominated Mandy Walker (Elvis) in Los Angeles.
In 2019, he served as Cinematographer, Writer and Director on the short film, "Sea Salt Wind”, which won multiple film festival awards including Audience Award for Best Narrative Short Film at OUT at the Movies International Film Festival and was picked up for release on Amazon Prime (currently still available).
In 2021, he served as Cinematographer, Writer and Director on his passion drama short film, Spirit of the Cinema, which showed in San Francisco’s IndieFest, Will Rogers Motion Picture Festival & RiverRun International Film Festival.
In the Summer of 2024, he completed work on his first feature-length film as Cinematographer, Tonight and Maybe Tomorrow, written and directed by Michael Smallwood (The Righteous Gemstones, Halloween Kills)
REDucated: Trained and Certified on RED Digital Cameras for operation, Color Grading and Codec from REDucation at Thunder Studios, Los Angeles. Completed in Summer 2015. Trained by Phil Holland & Justin O’Neill.
